Annual Giving

Annual gifts to CCSU are critical to our success. These unrestricted gifts enable us to direct financial support to the areas of greatest need, respond to unforeseen emergencies, and meet unpredictable demands. Please show your appreciation for CCSU with an annual gift now—and every year.

Institutional Support

  • The Friends of the Library Fund provides program and acquisition support for the Elihu Burritt Library.
  • The Welte Society supports enriching cultural programs for students and the broader community.

International Education

  • The James-Hauser International Exchange Fund supports exchange opportunities throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.


  • The CCSU Alumni Association Scholarship Fund provides support for children or grandchildren of alumni who qualify.
  • The Foundation Scholars Fund gives support to high-achieving, first-year qualifying students.
  • The Graduate Student Association Scholarship provides support for qualifying graduate student leaders.
  • The Student Government Association Scholarship provides support for a qualified student who has demonstrated leadership in the University community.
  • The Veterans Scholarship is awarded to a qualifying undergraduate named Student Veteran of the Year at the Veterans Recognition Program.


  • The Frank Marietta Athletic Scholarship Fund gives grants-in-aid to selected CCSU student athletes.
  • The Athletic Development Fund provides support for the CCSU intercollegiate athletic program.
